Instructions
  1. Dice onions, celery and any additional vegetables of choice. Place in skillet along with butter and on medium heat, sauté until cooked thoroughly. Cool and set aside.
  2. In large mixing bowl add salmon, mayo, egg, Old Bay Seasoning and crackers and mix together thoroughly.
  3. Add in cooled vegetables and mix again.
  4. Once all ingredients are mixed together, use hands to mold salmon mixture into individual patties.
  5. Using your skillet from earlier, turn on medium high heat and add a thin layer of oil to the pan.
  6. Gently place a few salmon patties in the pan, being sure not to over crowd. Cook the patties on each side for a few minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from pan and serve.
Recipe Notes

This is a flavorful but basic version to making Salmon Patties. Feel free to add additional vegetables, black olives, seasoning, etc. to the above recipe if desired.
